He’s a stray we collected. No idea what exactly. We think part Basset  because his fretboard point out and his bark sounds like one.  I’m tempted to get him DNA tested.

I know what it is on a guitar, but what’s a dog fretboard?

A google of dog fretboard ( for me) only brings up Fender pet apparel, a Merle Haggard Telecaster, an a mother-of-pearl inlay on a guitar fretboard in the shape of a dog.
